A walk amongst a carpet of wild flowers
We gave up trying to walk this bridle-path in1975 as it was a quagmire but thanks to the West Sussex County Council’s efforts through last autumn it is now ditched, bridged and covered with aggregate to make a first class footpath/cycleway.We set this cache at bluebell time when Spithandle Lane becomes a beauty spot.If you are fortunate enough to see it at this time of year, please approach the cache site from the east and continue southwards after the find to see the wild orchids.(This way,Muggles will think its just a circular route rather than a path to somewhere worth visiting/searching!)
