diraduck: After a 9 year run it is the End of the Line for this one.. the trail is being upgraded and this is no longer the end of the line and this spot is nothing special. I have a better spot in mind, stay tuned.

Geocache Description:


This abandoned rail line grade was used by trains to load and unload cargo from ships in Cowichan Bay up until the mid eighties.Although most of the ties and steel have been torn up, some of it is still intact at the "end of the line".Watch and listen for; Red-winged Blackbirds in the spring, Blue Herons and there is even a nesting perch for Ospreys.The Cubs, along with their dog Roxie,use this trail often so they hope you enjoy it as much as they do.
