First you will need to locate the Robert E. Rodgers Memorial Park, and then I would park at the Lions Pavilion. Look over the hill and find a kinda trail that leads down... on your own from there.
I will say you are going to get wet and will be at least up to you knees in water with a swift current. Attempts should not be made if the river is running high because it could be dangerous... however floating there could be another option still. Due to the swift current and slippery rocks I would suggest not bringing small children. Knowing how to swim would be good, there is only one path the will keep you from swimming... choose poorly and your going to get soaked. Good luck and happy hunting!
