Construite au début des années 30, la promenade consiste à stabiliser la rive sud du Saguenay qui conduisait à la petite ville de Rivière-du-Moulin. Aujourd'hui elle est utilisée à la fois par les piétons, les cyclistes et les patineurs à roues alignées qui profitent du paysage.
Built in the 1930s, the Promenade stabilizes the south bank of the Saguenay river on which we used to go to Rivière-du-Moulin. Today pedestrians stroll on the Promenade and cyclists, in-line skaters enjoy the scenery.
