Geocache Description:

This is a fairly simple find through a really nice area of Nail Can Hill. This has always been one of the coolest things left on the hill.
Nail can has a network of firetrails and interconnecting single tracks. This cache is just off a major trail a way into the bush.

Located in the lower section of Nail Can Hill, this cache is hidden in a potentially interesting bit of local history... or perhaps just a bit of old junk. If anyone has any information on the site and how this thing came to be there I'd be very interested to find out. Once you go there, you'll know what I mean.

There are many ways of getting there by foot or bike (or unicycle!). Cars, motorcycles, scooters and even one bus will get you close (aim for the back of Albury TAFE). You can also come from Gap Road Carpark, Jemalong Ave or the Peak of Pemberton st (though this is the hardest walk. It's further down from the others on the hill so if you're doing a few caches at once, factor the climb either way.

It's a small to regular cache box and has some good swaps and a logbook. Please hide it well as the site generates quite a bit of interest to people who stumble by it and there is a high chance of being muggled. It's not terribly easy to more around the site and you do need to be cautious, though I'm sure it's not moving anywhere.

I hope you enjoy finding this as much as I did when I stumbled onto it while orienteering about 17 years ago. I think it's been there for quite a while longer than that!
