Geocache Description:

Dead Mans Gulch is closest to the Northern Entrance to Guernsey State Park but can be reached from the Southern Entrance as well. It is another beautiful camping, picnicking area. This area gets you up close to the soaring cliffs that line beautiful Lake Guernsey. The first stage of this multi cache is just a short walk from the designated parking area that you will clearly see. The final stage is not far but hazardous. The obstacles that you will encounter here are loose gravel, rocks and very steep terrain. Please watch your footing and take your time. Once you are there take in the view, it is breathtaking!

Once again, there is a minimal fee to enter the park. For Wyoming residents it is $2.00, for non-residents it is $4.00. Well worth your pocket of change to view this beautiful area. Pack a lunch, bring the boat or jet skis and make a day of it, or even a weekend camping! There are several caches inside the park to make this trip worth your while.
