The Trash Cache Traditional Cache
Thelost1!: We've decided it would be better to lay this cache to rest and create a whole new cache listing. The cache is moving a considerable distance up the road and will take more time to arrange. This cache is located just up the road from Kitsap Lake Park. There
were not any caches in this area or around the park so we thought
we'd add one to the neighborhood. We also want to help keep the
lake area clean so that we can enjoy a clean lake for years to
come.
Only 4 months after placing this cache,
and only 21 logged visits, this area has been transformed!
Thanks to all that have visited this cache most of the litter
has been cleared from the site. We hope others will continue
to help clear out new litter that shows up to keep the site
as clear as possible. This area proves that just a handful of
people can make a difference! Thanks to all that have helped
and those yet to come!
We placed this cache here on Earth Day 2007. This large pull-out
near Kitsap Lake Park is the victim of litter bugs! We decided that
it needs some Geocaching influence! If every cacher visiting the
site does some quick CITO with a few pieces of litter this place
will be cleaned up in no time. The day we placed this cache our
kids cleaned up two garbage bags filled with trash from the site.
The presence of the local caching community will hopefully keep
others from leaving their trash here in the future.
You will be looking for a PVC cylinder, amongst the trees. You will
not have to walk far! There are a couple of rough geotrails leading
to the site. Take care to put the cache back exactly as you find
it. Please make an effort to be sure it won't be easily seen from

Please be considerate to the next hunters! Trade
equal or trade up. After all, the little ones love the treasures
