**Plans are to archive this series mid
November and maybe make the Final a traditional cache.**
This micro series is called the “Wandering
Monk”. Follow the
paths this Friar took through Glen Abbey, leaving himself reminders
along the way of where he hid his few remaining possessions.
In the short time I have been caching, I have
enjoyed some of the micro hides the most.
They are sometimes easy, and sometimes just
downright elusive. This series hopefully has a little of both. I
was also surprised that only a handful of caches existed in the
Glen Abbey trail areas, one of the nicest neighbourhood trail
systems I have been on. Hopefully this short series will let you
enjoy them as well.
All within a 3 square km area, you can choose to tackle one or all
of them in a day. Don’t forget to check out nearby caches too!
You can log each micro individually, but to
find the Bonus Final you will need to complete all 10 micro stages.
Each container has a log sheet and a code letter IN or ON the
container. Record all 10 stages if you want to decode the cipher
and find the Bonus Final. Bring a pen or pencil, as some of these
containers will not have one.
