An enjoyable short stroll parallel to, and a little to the east
of, Seton Dean. The path through Longniddry Dean runs north to
south between the A198 and the B1348 road along the coast towards
Aberlady. It is best to start at the north end, parking in
Longniddry Bents car park number 1. There is no safe parking on the
fast stretch of the A198 close to the other end of the path. You
can also access the path from Longniddry (along the appropriately
named Dean Road) at a number of points.
The path through the Dean and the footbridges which cross the
burn were upgraded as part of the East Lothian access project with
support from the local community to maintain the woodland
strip.
