Geocache Description:

The King is dead;long live the King!
King William II has taken up residence in his new castle, located on higher ground.

"The King Is #1" was the first geocache placed in King William County. The original was placed underneath the footbridge in Zoar State Forest, just east of Herring Creek, close to the Mattaponi River.
Unfortunately, the winter of 2006 was so wet that the geocache was flooded, and "The King Is #1" was drowned, then frozen in a block of ice. His body was found by BroHam on December 10th.
This new geocache, "King William the 2nd" has been relocated nearby, but the castle has been moved to safer ground.
King William II has started his reign with a few items that survived the flood of the The King Is #1, including:
a baseball hardball
a mini barbie-doll
a decorating eraser
a key-ring level
Fodors "Maine to Miami" I-95 Road Guide
King William II is celebrating the start of his dominion with a rich new waterproof cache container containing the following new treasures:
a rubber snake
a dozen "hologram" pencils
a calculator
a hand-held battery powered fan
a flashlight
a remote control toy car
a cinnamon-apple scented candle
two plastic rain panchos
