Once a popular picnic and swimming spot that is being restored to its natural beauty, now that the Invercargill landfill and refuse site is closed. Allow one and a half hours if walking the whole circuit.
Ther are two main information panels with a brief history of the area and other notable events. Make sure to check both sides as you will need this information obtain the final co-ordinates which are given by.
