Route Alt 559 (Ocean Heights ave) near the intersection with route 559 (Somers Point/Mays Landing road). Parking at N 39.25.548 W 074 42.005. No U turns are allowed on this road and the parking spot is along the bend in the road.
This cache is located in the Natures Land Trust Hamilton Preserve area that is 1440 acres in size. It had been posted off limits for many years but is now open to the public for hiking and preservation of the land. It is nice to now be able to once again hike around this area. The walk in is fairly open ground but there are hills and sand around. I also placed the Gravelly Pond cache on the way in to this one since there were so many places to put caches in this area. Enjoy the walk around here and the sounds of the nearby stream..
Note: The best way into this cache is to go for the Gravelly Pond cache first. The trails will follow around the pond. No need to hop over water or go through stickers to get here.
