Cache is located near Our Lady of the Valley Church, SAV HQ, and the White Elephant Thrift Store. Fairly easy, flat walk along hard pack dirt arroyo trail. Cache is located off trail a few meters.
This is a regular cache in a 64oz, black plastic container with a copper top. Near the trail so please replace camouflage. LOADED with goodies for all ages.
There are 3 GREAT places to park...1) White Elephant Thrift Store overflow parking (dirt) located at south end of west parking lot (parking at N 31.52.851 W 110.59.851) Store is OPEN 9-Noon, Mon - Sat, but parking is available ALL day. BTW...store has neat bargains. 2) Our Lady of the Valley Church west (upper) parking lot (parking at N 31.52.715 W 110.59.804) Turn at Fire Station for road to upper lot. 3) Meritage Model Homes parking (park at N 31.52.686 W 111.00.233). The longest walk is from the White Elephant parking area and the shortest is from the church.
White Elephant: Head south down the dirt road.
Our Lady Church: Head to the west corner near the power pole.
Meritage Lot: Walk across the street to the Sonoma tract and enter arroyo at north end of tract signage. (There's a small pebbled walkway leading down behind the sign).
This is a nice little cache in a well traveled arroyo. Great for Green Valley snowbirds, fulltimers, and all their grandkids.
