A Pink Floyd Series cache!
This album is what I like to call the "clunker" of the bunch.
This album was a poorly thrown together compilation album that
contained NO NEW MUSIC OR RELEASES whatsoever. It was released for
the sole purpose of producing profits and nothing else.
The songs were from many different albums including: The Wall,
Meddle, Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here.
As if adding insult to injury, the album had this title, A
Great Collection of Dance Songs. If there was one thing that
Pink Floyd music was NOT known for, it would be music to dance by.
The album was a fairly large flop and placed the final blow to what
ended up being a feud between: Pink Floyd the band and Roger
Waters.
The end result was Waters agreeing to make one more album with
Pink Floyd, then leaving the band and disolving the union of the
band permanently. Waters stand was that he was the essence of Pink
Floyd and without him, the band had no standing.
You are looking for a small plastic container with a PINK lid.
There is a log file, a pencil, geocaching instructions for newbies,
and room for small trade items.
