Geocache Description:

Easy to reach family cache. So be an good cacher and dont be a lazy cacher and writ TFTC.

I ask that you to write a log telling a little about your adventure while hunting this cache. Writing a good log is the only payment for any geocacher. As owner of this cache I can delete the log for any reason and a poor log is one of them. Thanks

This is an easy to reach cache. Parking is not a problem. It is family friendly. You will want to spend some time on the inside looking around. While you are looking for the cache notice the advertising on the taller building to your south. How long has it been that cokes were that price? Oh you want to find the cache. To do that you must locate the place where a cannon was once placed but during WWII. It was donated to the scrap drive like so many things during that time period. Its resting place now is about 100 years old and in the same spot. It is in a plastic bottle container.

If you stand very still and close your eyes you can almost feel the past. The people moving all about waiting for the train to come in so they could set out on an adventure, or looking for someone to come home. There were many people here during the day so many years ago and this spot was probably a good place to stand when it was hot weather. Now it is better to stand inside with the AC going. Enjoy the cache and this area. There was once a well known person that called this place home. Can you figure out who that was ?
