After a recent trip to Maryland, USA I soon found that a large
number of magnetic micro boxes and/or other simular
containers had been placed in easy as the british call them "Drive
By's"

This series is based upon this trip, however some of the boxes
maybe magnetic, but some may not !!!
Some may blend well into their surroundings.... all the boxes
are unique.
However all the locations were in busy muggle places, so
although you could possibly (well I can !!) see the box from
the car, actually getting your hands on the box, signing the log
and replacing said box is the hard bit
In your case it could be the finding !!!
