David Bourke: This small park had undergone a much needed face lift but sadly has been left to return to its previous state of neglect.
I think its time to bid fairwell to Sligo Gate. Sligo Co Co need a lession is park maintenance!!!!

Geocache Description:

Located in a small park close to the Collooney Roundabout

This Park marks the start of the Collooney – Sligo Dual Carriageway officially openend on the 26th January 1998 by Mr Noel Dempsey, Minister for the Environment and Local Government.
The cache is a 100ml sealed sample jar containing a log book, pencil and sharpener.
