The Saintly City- Big Al slept here- Ma too... Traditional Cache
Gat R Done: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you have any questions, please contact me via email (gatrdoneMN@gmail.com) and include the GC#.

Across the street was one of the Saintly Cities most notorious hotels- the Commodore. Opening in 1920, it soon became a chic nightspot for dining and dancing in the elegant ballroom. It hosted many of the gangster era A-list, including, many of the Barker-Karpis gang and even Al “Scarface” Capone. Mr. Capone checked in several times, while in the Saintly City for business and pleasure, always incognito, of course. The Commodore was also home to “Ma” Barker who moved into rooms 215- 221, under the alias, Mrs. A.B. Gardner in May, 1933. The heyday of the Commodore was the gangster era and soon fell into disarray until remodeled and turned into apartments in the 1970’s.
