Park Tony Neuman
Dieses Grundstück mit Villa wurde 1947 vom Verwaltungsratsvorsitzenden der ARBED erworben, der seinen Gärtner, Alphonse Hollman, mit der Anlage eines Arboretums beauftragte. 1979 wurde der Park an das Rote Kreuz vererbt, das ihn der Stadt Luxemburg für die Dauer von 99 Jahren zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Der nun öffentlich zugängliche Park ist für die Einwohner des Stadtviertels ein beliebtes Ziel für einen Spaziergang. Hier finden wir auf dem
abschüssigen Gelände Richtung Rollingergrund das letzte Stück Wald des Limpertsberg, aber auch moderne Skulpturen (Lucien Wercollier) und Rosenbögen.

This large estate and villa was acquired in 1947 by the president of the administrative board of ARBED, who entrusted his gardener Alphonse Hollman with the establishment of an arboretum in its grounds. In 1979, the park was bequeathed to the Red Cross, who put it at the disposal of the city for a period of 99 years. The park, now open to the public, has become a favourite recreation area for local inhabitants. Across its tortured topography, between
the valley and the heights, we find not only the last remnant of forest in the district, but also modern sculptures (by Lucien Wercollier) and arbours of climbing roses.

Cette grande propriété avec villa avait été acquise en 1947 par le président du conseil d’administration de l’ARBED, qui avait chargé son jardinier Alphonse Hollman de créer un arboretum dans son parc. En 1979, le parc a été légué à la Croix-Rouge qui l’a mis à la disposition de la Ville pour 99 ans. Le parc, ouvert au public, est devenu le lieu de promenade favori des habitants du quartier. Sur son relief tourmenté entre la vallée et la hauteur, nous trouvons le dernier segment de forêt dans le quartier, mais aussi des sculptures modernes (Lucien Wercollier) et des tonnelles de roses.
