Geocache Description:

Welcome to the L.A.T.C.H. 101 series of caches. L.iving A.dventure T.hrough C.ache H.opping. This will be an ongoing series of 101 caches. These hides will be spread around to various locations. Caches will cover different categories, sizes, types, overall difficulty (both terrain and location difficulty), the series will also contain traditional, puzzle and multi caches. This series gives me a chance to get my “hide fix”. It also gives you a chance to get your “find fix”. I love where I live and all of the surrounding areas. With this series I can explore more of my domain and at the same time give you the chance to explore areas that we might otherwise pass by. I am happy when a cache does something as simple as make me drive down a side street that I (while living in the Tri-Cities for 31 years) have never taken. You might say that I enjoy taking the road “less traveled”. I hope you enjoy these caches as much as I have hiding them. Please use stealth when hunting, rehide cache better than you found it, CITO, trade even, take responsibility for your own safety when caching, be aware of poisonous plants/snakes/wildlife/thorns, have fun and happy caching.

I have increased the difficulty on this one due to heavy tree cover and lack of a good sat signal...GPSr will bounce around alot in this area...first over here and then over there...I spent almost two hours taking the coords...six waypoints and about 4500 averages later I decided on these coordinates. The coords will get you close and the hint will get you the grab...You are hunting a medium sized metal cookie tin...camo painted...logbook and small tradeables inside. There is nearby parking in this recreation area. Well defined gravel trails through the woods. Picnic tables available....a beautiful area...
