When I was a kid this wasn't owned on the top or the bottom, the
cache is hidden on public land and you need to pass through on a
private access road so please be respectable. Though traffic is
permitted. It smells wonderful here but it sure is sad that someone
feels as if they need to gate the upper road off. While you are in
your search for the cache take time to enjoy the surroundings.
Harkness used to be a great place to hunt and camp, it is still a
nice place to hike and ride horses. The view from the cache is the
slendid outcropping of the tail end of Haystack Mountain. ENJOY
