This one is for Derrick who has recently been stationed in Iraq. The cache is full of American flags. Please take one in honor of him and of all those who are serving our Country abroad; especially those who may be in harms way.
Derrick is from Oregon and has been geocaching a time or two with his brother. I will send him the web stats so he can follow the activity on his cache from afar. When logging your visit on the web, please feel free to send Derrick greetings, salutations, and good Ju-Ju.
My friend, Karma123, wanted to contribute to this cache, so she gave a little something silver for FTF.
You could also call this McHugh View III. Enjoy the views of the mountains and the sea.
Park at the McHugh Creek trailhead upper parking lot, which is about 20 minutes south of Anchorage. The cache is an easy walk from there. It would be a good idea to take your favorite mosquito, moose, AND bear repellent with you.
If you are feeling adventuresome, you can continue up the mountain to find McHugh View II and the original McHugh View cache, which are well worth the effort.
