It's Not Just a Cache, It's an Adventure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

briansnat: Not in compliance with new state guidelines and not interesting enough see if I can keep. This won't be removed immediately as I have a lot of caches to deal with, so anyone who wants to log this before I remove it, feel free to keep the container and please mention that you did so in your log. IIRC this might be an ammo box. I will post a note when I'm about to physically remove it.

Geocache Description:

You know how they say that half the fun is getting there. Well, the fun part of this cache is figuring out how to get to it. The area is criss-crossed with woods roads and there are some flagged trails and old marked trails that we passed along the way, including one that went right by the cache. The qestiion is where do they begin? It's a fascinating area to explore.

The cache itself is hidden in an interesting rock formation.

The two most logical approaches are from the Split Rock reservoir side, or from the yellow Boy Scout trail on Kinnelon Rd (trailhead coords N40.58.300, W74.24.034, parking for 2-3 cars on the southbound shoulder at these coords).

There is also a fairly nice FTF prize. It's wrapped in a plastic bag, hidden under a rock about 2 feet from the cache.
