To find this cache, take the number of gallons of water in Lake Shasta on July 4, 2004 and divide by the surface area in square feet. Take the above number and enter it in your GPS.
The cache coord can really be calculated using the top sign concerning dogs on the trail. Do not use the dogs on leash sign. The North coord is determined by multiplying the total number of letters by three minus the number of letters in the bottom line. Add this number to the North coord above. Add to the West coord above the total number of letters multipled by four plus one.
If all this seems like to much trouble you can just hike westerly on the trail approx. 1/10 mile to the park bench on the left side of the trail "road side". Have a seat and CONTEMPLATE where the cache might be. It will be very near, well within GPS accuracy.
