Geocache Description:

The above reference is for parking at/near the Potters Well, in Midhope

It is NOT the final cache. This is what I intended to be the first of a series of four caches that make up a circular walk of 8.5km The other caches are:
‘Midhope stroll bonus’
‘Langsett stroll’
‘Langsett stroll bonus’
Alternatively Midhope stroll can be completed as a 4.7km circular stroll with some road walking; the rest being on defined footpaths/bridleways with some steep inclines. Sensible footwear recommended. It might be advisable to take pencil, notebook and relevant map such as the 1:25000 Dark Peak OL1

At the end you have the reward of being adjacent to a great pub in Midhope village.

For the ‘Midhope stroll’ you will gather some information at two locations and visit 2 multicaches (to help keep you on the right path) to obtain further information to lead you to the final cache. The final cache contains a number to help you locate Midhope stroll bonus.

To find the location of multicache 1:
At the Potters Well look at the noticeboard relating to Bradfield Walks (N 53 29 597 W001 38 662) :When was the school erected?: ABCD

At the church (N53 29.520 W001 38.838) Obtain the date above the porch; EFGH
The church is open 24hours a day. It is well worth having a look around inside.

Multicache 1: To be found at
N 53 29 CGA W 001 38 (F+D)C E which will give you the location of Multicache 2.
