Geocache Description:

This is an easy cache, parking in front, with alot of Navarre History around.
Day light only, bring your own pen,and it's magnetic.

Navarre, Ohio was originally made up of three small Villages: Bethlehem, Navarre, and Rochester. The three Villages merged together in 1871 to form what is now Navarre.

The site of this cache is at the Spring House Tavern in Bethlehem. Unfortunately the Tavern is no longer there, it is now a small park!

The brick building on the opposite corner once belonged to J.D. Define. The building was his home, grocery store, and tavern.
It is now on the National Register of Historical Places.

Look for other Historical Markers placed throughout our town.

Navarre is truly one interesting place..................
