Geocache Description:

A nano cache located in a very small local park. Even though this is a nano, it should still be a cache & dash. I found this park on my way out from GCKVT9, the Ryan Memorial Park cache, and was surprised I didn't already know about it. I always told myself I would put the Little Known Park Finder 2 cache here when I found it, but I don't see that happening anytime soon, so I have placed a permanent cache here instead.

This is very small park dedicated to the memory of Mark J. Kelly. It is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and surrounded by homes, so some degree of stealth is necessary. Next to the blue & yellow sign proclaiming the park's name is a small granite memorial stone, and it is engraved with the following inscription:

"In memory of MARK J. KELLY

Born May 16, 1958 and served with distinction in the Rush Township Police Department from June 7, 1984 to his premature death June 6, 1995, and also served on the Road Department from Jan. 1978 to Feb 1990, and served citizens of Rush Township in many ways, not the least of which was good friend, kind neighbor, honest man and fine gentleman."

Although there are no hours posted for this little park, please use a little common sense - you will be parking in front of somebody's home no matter which direction you approach from.
