LLKD-36 The Lost Season of
2005
Warning: Your shoes
will get muddy from this cache. If wearing the wrong shoes
your socks will be soggy. The ground and other structures you
will encounter are anything but level. Coming from the north
or the south the results will be the same. This area is not
stroller friendly.
This is a portion of the
Long Island Greenbelt that I have a love-hate relationship
with. At the site of the cache while running I missteped;
fell and did a good bit of damage to my right leg. This ended
my running and adventure racing for the entire 2005 season.
That aside it is my favorite 100 yards of the Greenbelt
trail. The word "character" comes to mind for these 300
feet.
The container is now a small
Lock & Lock. As customary please rehide better than
found.
