The cache is located near the Prallsville Mills historic site just off Route 29. The site is adjacent to beautiful Wickecheoke Creek and the D & R Canal and is home to many historic buildings. The buildings and structures date from ca. 1790 to the early twentieth century and include a 1790 linseed oil mill, a 1877 gristmill, a 1850 sawmill, a 1900 grain silo, a 1874 railroad trestle, a 1834 canal and several secondary outbuildings. More information on the site is also available through the Delaware River Mill Society.
The listed coordinates are for a location adjacent to the parking area for the site. The location is a scenic spot where you can enjoy the view and have a bite to eat. To locate the cache you'll need to project a waypoint 235 feet at an azimuth of 159 degrees true from the above waypoint. There you'll find the cache. Use stealth in looking for the cache as this area is very popular with hikers, bikers, and fisherman, especially when the weather is nice.
