Geocache Description:

A nice walk along a nice path along Jewitt Creek.

This cache is available year round. Dogs are allowed most of the time but NOT ALLOWED between March 20 - July 1. This is part of the Kreps Ranch and they use it for cattle during those times. Also make sure you go to the left across the creek. Going to the right will take you behind the rifle range.
To get to starting coordinates you need to get to NE Park Ave in White Salmon. You can either head east on Grandview from Jewitt or go east on Tohomish past the Thriftway. Turn at the Jewitt Creek Gun Club sign and go down the hill. When you find starting point get out your pencil. To get new N coordinates find the year of birth and subract 1110. This will give you a new last 3 digits. To get new W coordinates make month and day of birth a number - as April 17 equals 0417. Take month and day number and subract 553. This is last 3 numbers of W coordinates. You are now on your way to "Middle of the Trail" cache.
There is quite heavy tree cover so GPS reception is dicey. Trail isn't very well traveled but cache is pretty close to trail so watch for prying eyes. Cache is ammo can full of goodies.
There is poison oak just off the trail so be careful.
