Coach Steve: I have replaced this cache three times, and it has come up missing all three times. Enough.

Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to Moonfox, a cacher from Connecticut coming out to do her 1100th cache.

The cache is placed just as you come into Springdale, the gateway town to Zion Park. You will have a great view up the Canyon from the parking area. It is very near a famous local landmark. There is a good place to pull off the road, but watch crossing, as the traffic can be brutal at times.

It is placed in a rock crevice covered by a couple of natural objects at about eye level for the average cacher. The coords can be a bit tricky because of the closeness of the rocks, but there is nothing really tricky about the hide. It is not on the outside--you have to go the the empty space in the middle of the rock outcrop.

There are some good eating establishments in town, as well as a Cinemax theater. You can get some of the best apples and natural foods just before you get to the cache.

For Moonfox, anyone who is crazy enough to get 1100 finds is very addicted to this game. (Not me, of course) Congratulations on achieving what I'm sure will be many milestones in the future. May you have a great time in our backyard!
