Geocache Description:

The cache is a camoed decon container in the upper trails of Ahmanson Ranch. Can be hiked to from the trailhead at the West end of Vanowen St. in West Hills.

I got here by first going to Charred Oak Hill at N 34° 11.590 W 118° 40.574 and then followed the trail up heading NW. It's about 3 miles roundtrip from the west end of Vanowen. From Charred Oak Hill it's another 1/3 mile with 300ft elevation gain on an established trail. After getting this cache you may continue further on the trails into the heart of Ahmanson Ranch.

Bring plenty of water, there is very little shade out here.
