pathfynders2: Well this is very disappointing, it looks like we lost a White Jeep, and some geocoins in this one. Very Sad I'll double check with the Forest Service there at Eagle Creek, but most liekly this one is history...before it even had a chance to get started.

Geocache Description:

Up the Eagle Creek Trail at the Metlako Falls Overlook.

This year the Orchards Pathfinder Club had our annual spring campout at the Eagle Creek Overlook group camp area. Since there is already a cache in the Overlook park, we decided to place one up on the Eagle Creek Trail which we hiked on Saturday (our Sabbath).

We had 3 GPSrs and all were having trouble keeping satelite reception within the creek canyon area so don't be afraid to use the hints...That is what they are there for!

I took a look at our coordinates on Topozone and they don't look to be very accurate. When you get up the trail close to Metlako falls, look for the Metlako Falls Overlook/Viewing area trail. There is a sign on the tree and the trail goes off to the right (SE). Once you're there the hints should guide you in. If you get better readings please log them for others.

There is an unregistered geocoin for the FTF prize!

You are looking for a clear plastic 1/2 quart container with a blue screw-on lid. Please rehide it well behind the rock and watch for muggles; especially during the summer months.
