LCRA Muleshoe Bend Recreation Area. This is a hiking or Mountain Bike area through nice trails covered with cedar, cactus and lots of hill country animals. The trail is shaded in many areas so it makes for a nice hike but watch out for bikers. It is a 7 mile loop so you can go the distance or cut it short. The bike riding is wonderful but look out for the rocks.
The cache was put out on Mothers Day 2007 in dedication to all the mothers who enjoy being outdoors with their family.
I titled it "M" for mother because everything in the cache starts with a "m". To start it off we have a mirror, mardi gras beads, a mask, Maddux baseball card, a moose, a marker, a measuring tape and a Mean cuisine wacky sticker.
We chose Mullshoe Recreation area because the kids love biking through the rocky terrain. I hope you enjoy the journey.
