This cache is located in the Maubisse sub-district of Ainaro District
The cache can be found in close proximaty to the Pousada de Maubisse, a hotel built in Portuguese time, located on a hilltop close to the Maubisse township. It is the first cache to be hidden for the enjoyment of new members in the Ainaro district.
The Pousada is circled by a path inside a low perimeter wall where you can enjoy 360 degree views over mostly rural land to the highest mountains in Timor. While viewing the landscape at the back of the Pousada you will find steps leading outside the wall. The cache is hidden under a flat rock at the top of the retaining wall where it meets the outer side of the perimeter wall.
The cache is a small plastic container wrapped in black plastic. When hidden contained a log sheet, stashnote, pencil and 2 swop items. Local Timorese are very interested in Maelae activities so the muggle factor has been increased accordingly to take account of this.
