Fowlmead Country Park is the result of an £19 million South
East England Development Agency regeneration scheme converting the
slagheaps of the former Betteshanger Colliery off the A258
between Sandwich and Deal.
The bleak landscape of shale and coal dust has been transformed
into a rolling panorama of woodland, country walks, small lakes,
horse riding facilities and a national standard cycle track.
To obtain the co-ords for the bonus cache, simply make note of the
number on the front of the logbook of this cache which will
correspond to the bonus cache letter D
The cache is a disguised 35mm film pot containing logbook and
pencil. Its location is likely to be a busy one, PLEASE be stealthy
when retrieving and replacing the cache.
