Geocache Description:

Owner's Note: This trail has been temporarily closed to vehicular traffic. It can still be hiked so I will leave it active for now. I will contact the park ranger to make sure foot traffic is OK.

Uwharrie National Forrest - OHV Park
Near Troy , NC w/ about 16 miles of 4wd trails...and several off-road caches. Thes caches can , and have , been hiked, but 4wd vehicles are preferred. A couple could actually be done w/ 2wd, but it wouldn't be pretty!

Falls Dam is the easiest of the 4wd trails at URE. When dry, it could probably be done in a 2wd vehicle...but lots of beating and banging and damage could occur. When wet...all bets are off...red mud and rocks don't mix!
This cache is located just up the trail a bit from the hardest section of the trail, and may be w/in sight of campers...so stealth may be needed.
You will be looking for a "cammo" can thats hidden in a very natural "for this area" location. I thought it was an obvious place to hide it.
