Multikätkö sijaitsee Hämeenlinnassa tekopohjaveden muodostamiseen käytettäviä imeytysaltaita ympäröivässä maastossa. Vettä pumpataan Alajärvestä Hattelmalan harjuun, jossa se imeytetään pohjavedeksi. Ensimmäinen imeytysallas rakennettiin 1976 ja 1985 rakennettiin kaksi allasta lisää. Tekopohjavettä imeytetään harjuun kolmea eri imeytysallasta vaihdellen. Veden imeytyminen ei vaikuta haitallisesti luontoon, vaan kasvillisuus ehtii palautua normaalitilaansa imeytystaukojen aikana. (www.hsvesi.fi/?sivu=tekopohjavesi)
The multicache is located in Hämeenlinna on the surroundings of pools used to produce artificial groundwater. The water is pumped from the lake Alajärvi to the Hattelmala ridge where it becomes groundwater. The first pool was build in 1976 and two others in 1985. The tree pools are used alternatively in producing artificial groundwater. The process makes no damage to the nature because there is enough time for the flora to recover during process intervals.

Coordinates lead you to the first part of the multicache. It is a small box containing coordinates for the second part. The cache is not located inside the fenced area! Both parts of the multicache can be difficult to find in winter time.
