Geocache Description:

Jackson Park
This cache is located inside geocache friendly, Jackson Park.
Note: This sign does not exist any more!

NOTE: This cache is in a county park, therefore will only be available between the hours of dawn and dusk. Please consider this time frame when hunting for this cache.

Begin your hunt by reporting to the posted coordinates..

N35 18.866 W82 26.562

At that location, locate a large rock with a brass plaque attached to it. You will use information on this plaque to determine the coordinates for the cache.

NOTE: You must be extremely accurate in your counting and computations, to calculate accurate coordinates.

The North portion of the coordinates are N35° 19.xxx where xxx is calculated by the following method:
1. Count the total number of numeric digits on the plaque.
2. Add the sum of all the numeric digits on the plaque.
3. Add the number of times the character sequence, "son" appears on the plaque.

Your grand total represents "xxx" in the North portion of the coordinates.

     (Checksum = x+x+x = 6)

(note: keep adding digits together until you reduce to a single digit!)

The West portion of the coordinates are W82° 26.yyy where yyy is calculated by the following method:
1. Count the total number of alpha characters, on the plaque.
2. Multiply that number by the number of times the complete word, "as" appears
    (by itself) on the plaque.
3. Add the number of years that passed between Clyde's birth and the dedication
    of the park.

Your grand total represents "yyy" in the West portion of the coordinates.

     (Checksum = y+y+y = y+y = 7)

(note: keep adding digits together until you reduce to a single digit!)

The cache container is a 4X4" plastic container.  Now proceed to the coordinates of N35 19.xxx W82 26.yyy and locate the cache!

Good Luck, and Happy Hunting!
