Short walk along a creek that feeds to the nearby the Chipola River.
Please be mindful of the camouflage and post a note if it needs to be repaired.
There are several things to like about this location. You have a unique bend in the Chipola River that's created a popular swimming location as well as white water tubing. You can launch your boat, swing from trees into the river, or just sit on the edge and dangle your toes in the water.
The road to the cache is 8/10s of a mile and is of good quality, but is a washboard dirt road. If you come on a car you may need to take it slow.
Since this is a popular swimming location, coming during the weekends or holidays would require extra stealth.
If you were to drift down the river from here on a tube, you'd end up at another cache, A River Runs By It - 2, about 1.5 miles downstream.
