A very modern boat launch suitible for very large boats as well as car toppers. There is also a large parking lot with over flow parking across the street. This launch site has very easy access to the CT River and there is NO fee.
Firefighter Skippy reminded me of this launch area while we were talking about the Selden Island trail clearing Event planned for Saturday 5/19. Thanks FFS
With a little business in Old Saybrook this morning this was a no brainer. The container is smaller than my usual and may not be water tight. Feed back would be appreciated. I left a pencil and log sheet and the cache is very near a park bench. Keep your eyes open for muggles while removing the container. Note: no tools are needed, the container is in plain sight. Do not open any doors. Please replace with large end UP.
