I boken SÖSDALA - en Göingeby genom tiderna - skriver Anne-Marie Hammarlund så här om Möllebro:
”... vid Möllebro korsar man ån på en välvd stenbro om man letar sig in på den gamla landsvägen. Här tillstötte en gång en utfart från Fredriksberg, och både detta faktum och terrängens beskaffenhet motiverade en kraftig och inte alltför anspråkslös bro. Namnet Möllebro måste syfta på den närbelägna Benmöllan.”
Idag tycker vi kanske inte att bron är så kraftig och anspråksfull. Men tar vi en titt in under bron så blir vi nog lite imponerade av dåtidens byggnadskonst.
In the book "SÖSDALA - en Göingeby genom tiderna" the author Marie Hammarlund writes this about Möllebro:
"...at Möllebro you can cross the stream on an arched stone bridge if you find your way to the old main road. Here, the way out from Fredriksberg also occured in the early days. This and the rough terrain motivated a strong and not to modest bridge. The name Möllebro must refer to the old mill - Benmöllan."
Today maybe we no longer regard the bridge as strong and forceful, but if we take a look under it we probably will be a bit impressed over the construction.
I boxen låg från början en nyckelring, en brosch, en tom ampull, en reflex, fyra säkerhetsnålar, en rosa panter utan svans, en skridskoåkare samt loggbok, pennor och info.
In the box there was a key ring, a brosch, an empty ampull, a reflex, four saftey-pins, a pink panther witout a tale, a skater and of course a log book, pencils and the usual information.
