Traditional Cache located in Stringham Park in the Town of LaGrange.
Stringham Park is a Town of LaGrange owned and operated park with a nice playground, soccer fields, several ponds and bathroom facilities. The LaGrange Rotary Club recently installed a very nice 9-11 Memorial that most definitely should be visited while exploring the park. On September 11,2011, a relic from the North Tower of the World Trade Center was dedicated at the memorial garden. Stop by and pay your respects for those who lost their lives.
A paved path partially circles the park and is a nice walk. The area that is not paved is an open walk by the soccer fields.
The cache is a rubbermaid type container painted brown to make it blend in with its surroundings a little better.
The original contents of the cache include a couple of geocoins, a flashlight, lighted crocodile, bungee cord and log book.
Happy hunting and make sure you stop at the memorial.
Note: Dogs are NOT permitted in the park.
