Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden near a camp on the shores of Lake Narracan. It is used during the week by school groups. Its initial contents are a stash note, log book and some small swap items and a pen.

Across the road from the camp is an old boat launching area. (this is where the original cache name came from... under the jetty.... it floated away!!)
looking out from the launching ramp to the water, there is a rough walking track on your right, follow this to the final co-ords.


There are 2 roads that you can use to get to the camp – Fernlea Trk and Howletts Trk, both are well made and should give no hassles to 2wd vehicles.

You will see on the drive in how close the Febuary 2006 fires came to the township of Yallourn Nth.

Pack a picnic and enjoy being away from it all!!
