Geocache Description:

This cache is located in Gateway Park and was placed during the Bike to Work Day festivities on May 18, 2007.

The cache is a micro. There is room for a log only. There was quite a bit of signal bouncing at placement. So, good luck with these averaged coordinates. Feedback on these coordinates is most welcome. Stealth will often be needed. Please stand the cache up as you found it.

Gateway Park is the home of the Rosslyn Jazz Festival in early September. It has a great view of the Fourth of July fireworks in Washington DC. You also get to enjoy a great sky walk with a view of Georgetown. The waterfalls are very peaceful. There are tables with chess/checker board tops, if you want to bring your pieces and play.

This is definitely a great place to recreate and a great stop to and from biking to work! For more info on Bike to Work Day: www.waba.org

This cache is within walking distance of the Martha Custis bike trail and the Rosslyn Metro stop. Trying to locate parking will be a nightmare, unless you go after work hours.
