A "letterbox cache" on Catshole Tor.
This cache has been placed for those local cachers who also enjoy a bit of letterboxing on the moors. Much of the open moor is "Right to Roam" access land so there are many ways to approach the cache. However in some areas a series of livestock fences may require you to make detours to find gates or stiles. The simplest route to this one is to walk from Jamaica Inn via Tolborough Tor, aim for the gate in the fence listed below which will take you to the west of the fence line. Please consult the latest edition of O.S. map "Explorer no. 109"......... This is a 1.6 litre box, with a smaller box inside to help keep the damp out. It contains a logbook, pen, rubber stamp & ink pad. T.B.s & Geocoins are welcome but please don`t leave swaps in this one. ........... April 2021 - The ink pad is running out.
