Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk between Thorner and Scarcroft, north of Leeds.
The walk takes you through the Roman site of Pompocali and follows part of the long disused railway line between Leeds and Wetherby.
The co-ordinates are NOT for the final cache, but within half a mile or so.

The cache is close to The Leeds Country Way, between the villages of Thorner, Scarcroft and Bardsey, north of Leeds. It starts on the bridge near Scarcroft Hall Farm, takes you to the little known Roman settlement at Pompocali, Hetchell Crags and part of the dismantled railway line from Leeds to Wetherby.

The recommended place to park is
N 53 52.516 W 001 25.418.

Part 2 - WOODENBRIDGE
Near this bridge there is a sign on a gatepost near the wood. The first five numbers of the telephone number are used as A,B,C,D,E in the clue to the final cache, Part 3 - POMPOCALI CIRCULAR.
Also count the number of wooden planks that you walk on when crossing the the bridge. This number = F .
Cross the stream by the bridge to get to Part 3.

Part 3 - Final Part - FINAL POMPOCALI

The cache is a small tupperware style box.

I have been informed that there is another cache which is very close by one of my waypoints.
Please take a look at

Roam in the Gloaming or Waypoint GCH6QX as you will pass close by the
end point whilst doing this cache.
