Geocache Description:

Formerly Known as 'QUACK QUACK', the recent flooding caused the

main prop (a plastic decoy duck) AND the very large log to which it

was attached, to float gracefully down the thames and is probably

bobbing around mid-English Channel!! The cache was still there, but

one of the micros had been muggled.

In view of the above and with FAWLTY TOWERS inspiration..i hereby

aptly re-submit this cache.....DUCKS OFF!

Parking at N.51.38.343 W001.12.905 (High Street, Long Wittenham)

The start point is the footpath at the parking co-ordinates, follow this to find your 1st clue at:

N51.38.373 W001.13.340

you will be looking for a green dymo label at all locations, with the co-ords to the next part of the multicache: when found, tap them into your GPS and proceed to the next one.

When searching for the cache watch out for rabbit burrows and nettles/thorns!

Have fun in this beautiful, peaceful location.

Found the large ammo box stacked full of goodies?? Great..finally, navigate your way to the start point by heading further along the footpath and left onto a cyclepath.... there is an excellent pub "The Plough Inn " further along the road into the village.

Note that nearby is the Pendon Museum which has a model village and railways..copy and paste this link into your browser to see more.... (visit link)
