For this cache you will not need any special equipment not even hiking boots, just your GPS. Nice easy stroll in a city nature area.
There are different ways to reach this UNMARKED trail, the best way is to park your vehicle/bicycle (sorry no bicycles allowed on the trail) near the University Grove Park at Coffman St on the South side of Larpenteur Ave. Enter the trail from the west side of Coffman between Golf Course holes 10-11 and University Grove residential area. The cache is located about .3 mile from the trail entry point.
While walking to the cache(Summer)you might find a stray golf ball or some raspberries,(Winter)Watch for polar bears, just kidding!
Bring your clubs and play a round of golf or practice your swing at the driving range across the street. Play basketball or enjoy a picnic at the playground. Also you can check out the unusual 1960's modern architectural style of the University Grove homes.
The cache is in a 5" X 2" round container painted black. It has trinkets, a log book and a pencil.
