Geocache Description:

This cache is the first in my personal tribute to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the television series that was called “the wagon train to the stars”.

It is a starbase after all, so you should be able to see it from 100, 000km away. Just kidding, the cache is a specially marked lock n’ lock container, so you can’t miss it. It is located along the Walnut Creek Greenway.
You can park at the end of Dacian Road. Do not park on Rose Lane as you will draw the attention and displeasure of the local residents. Plus, it isn't safe because the road is narrow.
As you reach the point of final approach (leaving the greenway), the base(Cache)will begin scrambling your signal (Tree coverage; GPSr accuracy is between 5 – 15 feet.) to verify if you are friend or foe. The base(Cache)is heavily sheilded for protection (Thorny vines). Damaging the sheilds(No bushwhacking should be needed.)could endanger the base. An spiral approach will get you around the sheilds and to the base. If it has rained within a week, boots are suggested as the area could be muddy.
